Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan School, Perumthiruthi observed Environment Day on June 5. Renowned environmentalist and award-winning Botany professor, Prof. Dr. Minu Divakar, Providence Women's College, inaugurated the event and addressed the students. Principal, Mr. K.P. Sreejith, presided over the function and gave the Environment Day Message. Administrative Officer Dr. Prabhakaran delivered the keynote address. This was followed by sapling plantation and various cultural programmes related to Environment Day.
